Agra is a city on the banks of the river Yamuna in New Delhi, India. Agra has one of the great and beautiful attractions of India. It is Taj Mahal. Its also famous as symbol of love.

Agra offers a variety of stunning attractions. Due to its vibrant history it is well known all over the world. Some famous and heritage sights of this region are; Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Chini Ka Roza, Sikandara and Fatehpur Sikri.

Agra is famous for housing the mysterious Taj Mahal. There are The Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri are UNESCO World Heritage sites in Agra. There are dozens of historical buildings in Agra, as it used to be the capital of the Mughal Empire. Office of Approved Guide Association Agra helps tourists find a professional tour guide. This guide will cost some 20USD for half a day.

There is also Agra Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Agra fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. This fort was made of the red sandstone and in the shape of the semi-circle. Later it was repaired with marble and other materials. Attractions inside of the fort are the Shish Mahal, Jahangir's Palace, Khas Mahal Diwan-e-Am, Pearl Mosque, Diwan-e-Khas and Musammam Burj. It works every day.
Working times: 6:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Entrance Fee: INR300 for foreigners, INR 20 for locals.

Fatehpur Sikri was commissioned by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1569. It used to be the capital of the Mughal Empire. It is an example of Mughal architecture. There are with beautiful and unique artworks and desings there. The building is made of the red stones.
Working times: Sunrise to sunset.
Entrance Fee: INR260 for foreigners, INR20 for locals.

There are just a few places to see in Agra but if you come out of Agra you can go to Sikandra, Bharatpur birds sanctuary and Fatehpur sikri besides others. All the places I have listed are less than an hours drive.
