Muttukadu – for a perfect weekend trip

Muttukadu is a small town present near Chennai; exactly it is about an hours drive south of Chennai. It’s present in east coast road very popularly known as ECR. The drive to this place in roadways is almost scenic because one can get a feel of natural atmosphere as the pollution reduces and the greenery increases during the journey. The Muttukadu boat house is much popular thing that one who visits that place should see, without which the trip is almost incomplete. A large number of restaurants and scenic view hotels are present there and the most famous one is MGM Beach resort which provides good standards of hospitality at an affordable price.

If you are not from Chennai and interested to visit this place, I would always suggest that it is a good idea. The place is very much near to Chennai (south India) so once you reach Chennai you could hire a taxi, auto rickshaw or you could use your own mode of transport like if you had a car or bike. This place will make your trip memorable and you will cherish every moment of visiting this place.

It's about one hour drive from Chennai and around 2 hours drive from Pondicherry.
