India's capital & a major gateway to the country,contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient & the modern.
New Delhi reflects the legacy the British left behind .The division between new & old Delhi is the distinctions between the capitals of British & the Mughals respectively.

Red Fort- From Mughal India, the chief attrctation is the huge Fort that contains within it palaces & impressive public buildings, such as DIWAN-I-AM ,DIWAN-I-KHAS ,RANG MAHAL, PEARL MOSQUE & LAHORE GATE, the Fort's main gate
Old Fort- Earlier seat of the mughls, believed to be the site of Idraprastha of Mahabharata period, is the fort uilt by Sher Shah.Here the sounds & the lights show capture some highlights of the legendary & historic past of india.
Humayun's Tomb- A sandstone forerunner of the TAJ MAHAL built by Humayun's wife.
Jama Masjid- In old delhi, an architectural extravaganza of Shah Jahan. one of the largest mosques, a beautiful structure that is still used for house of worship for Muslims
Dilli Haat- delhi haat food & craft bazar , opposite INA market , offers not only a one stop shopping but also to taste the ethnic cuisine & witness the diffrent performing arts of the country
Qutub Minar- An 11th centuary victory tower that rises to a height of 73m
