Hi guys, I’ll be landing at New Delhi this year on 23 March. I’ll be staying there for 3 weeks. Can anyone suggest some good places in the city that I could visit during this period??? How far is Taj from the capital city? What is the best time to go there? Any advice for staying options???

In New Delhi you have number of places to visit,
Monuments: India Gate, Jantar Mantar, Red Fort, Old Fort, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple and Lodhi Tomb
Markets: Connaught Place, Chandani Chowk in Old Delhi, Khan Market and DLF Citywalk Saket
Eating out: Karim's in Old Delhi, Khan Chacha, Pandara Road, Galina at Gole Market, Defence Colony and road side fast food from Chanakyapuri
Night outs: F-bar, Jynxx at Intercontinental Nehru Place, Turquoise Cottage in Adchini, Turquoise Cottage in Vasant and Striker Gurgaon
These are the first hand options which I have tried and found worth, let me know what all you like so I can suggest accordingly :)

About Agra
Its around 220 kms (137 miles) and takes 3 hours by car/4 hours by bus. You can make weekend trip to Agra, but remember to book your hotel from Delhi itself just to make sure that you need not to hunt for one after reaching there. Once you reach Agra you can hire a taxi for Rs. 600-700 which will show you Agra fort, Taj Mahal and Sadar bazaar (that all what you have in Agra) after this if you like you may go to Fatehpur Sikri to see Buland Darwaza and Fatehpur Sikri Fort.

delhi has lost its charm now (thats just a opinion).. as a capital of great country india it should be safe and sound for everyone.. if the visitor dont feel safe in capital of india, where would they suppose to go... many of you would agree with me that recent events in delhi has posted wrong image of india on world stage...
The capital city of India is Delhi have many tourits attraction places such as Red fort, Qutub Minar, Lotus temple, India Gate, Sansad Bhavan, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Connaught Place, Lodhi Gardens, Humayun's Tomb, Purana Quila, Salimgarh Fort, Chandni Chowk, Akshardham Temple, Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, Jama Masjid etc. August & September is best time to visit Delhi.
