    A Brief Intro of Haryana

There are lots of cities in Haryana such as Sonipat, Karnal, Rohtak, Hissar, Yamunanagar, Ambala, Kurukshetra. Every city has its own history but Panipat and Kuruksherta are known as battle gorund. Kurukshetra has many religious places. People come here at the time of solar and lunar eclipse to take bath in Suraj Kund.

On the contrary, Panipat is known for its three battles. Here are various historical places such as Kala Amb, Ibraham Lodhi Tomb. There is a historical Devi temple in Panipat which was created by Maratha during the time of third battle between Moh. Shah Afdaali and the Marathas. There is a Tomb of Bu-Ali Shah Kalandar which is Seven hundred years old. A large number of people from all walks of life, Hindu, Muslims, Sikh and Christians visit the tomb of Shah Kalandar and offer prayers here on every Thursday.

Bu-Ali Shah Kalander Tomb has been esteemed at the third among the Islamic religious places in the world. In the honor of Kalander Sahib Tomb, people named that area “Kalander Chowk”. It takes 10 min from bus stand to reach Kalander Chowk by rickshaw and 5 min to Devi Mandir. Devi Mandir and Kalander Sahib both are honorable religious places for the people there.

Panipat is also renowned for export quality of bed sheet and blankets industries. It is about 90 km far away from Delhi.

What ever is listed in this thread may be of great interest for those who are interested in visiting these places for religious reasons but to be honest I give a pass to most of these places as a general tourist. This is the very reason why most of these places aren't that well known. I do not intend any disrespect.

Bu-Ali Shah Kalander Tomb is located in the town of Panipat, India. This tomb is one of the most visited Pilgrimage place among the Muslims in India as well as all over the world. I never went there but listen about this spot from my friend because he has been there few years ago with his family.
