Thread: ID card to carry with passport

While visiting India do I have to or should carry my any other ID along with passport or only passport is enough.

I wouldnt carry the passport with me all the time. It is best to keep it safe at the hotel safe deposit box. Police or any other authorities dont go around asking for identity from people without a reason good enough. A drivers license would be good if you have one to keep in your wallet.
