    Sightseeing in Jaipur

No matter why you visit Jaipur sightseeing is mandatory for the capital as it is full of exotic places ,gardens & museums.

Jaipur 's signature building is Hawa Mahal a multi layered palace with profusion of windows & stone screens .Jantar manatar is a stone obsivatory raised in the 18th centuary .The city palace was the principal residence of the former ruling family . Heading out of the city is Jal Mahal , a former hunting lodge .

The experience of visiting Amer Palace ,is one that cannot be easily described .Two gardens must be visited are the landscaped pavilions known as vidhyadharji ka bagh &sisodia rani ka bagh

The newly built Birla mandir is a unique monument . For best effects see on a moonlight day

Amer fort is nice but I cant say the same for hawa mahal as it is just a tall wall with a few rooms on the side which was used by the females of royal family to see the royal processions and fairs and all which were held on the front side. The way this palace stays airy and cool is something of interest but thats about it. I am probably put off by people spitting in corners with their paans and tobacco may be. I didint like the place.

Admin, you are right Amer fort is a nice place to see in Jaipur. I have been there few years ago. It is a nice place to see for history lovers. I really like this sight due to its unique architecture. This fort was built by Raja Man Singh I.
