    Mathura -Brij Bhoomi

Mathura on the west bank of the yamuna is associated with lord Krishna . The surroundings, known as "Brij Bhoomi" is where he spent his childhood. Stone sculptures of Buddha and Vishnu found here are located in museums are located all over the world. The Mathura Buddha figures are noted for their beautifully carved halos with rings of floral designs. The cited is dotted with places of religious and historical interests.

Not to forget the Milk desserts are one of the famous delicacies served and are worth a try. I personally loved the Mal puas and Rabri.

In that case, Road is the best option. Mathura is located on NH2 about 145 km from delhi. Both local and private buses are available. you can also hire a cab or if you have a vehicle of your own, you can enjoy your ride..
